This contest is for students who are 19 years of age or younger and residents of the United States and its territories. To enter, students must submit a short film that is four minutes or less in length on a given topic related to censorship and free speech. Films will be judged on content, artistic and technical merit, and creativity. In addition to a cash prize, the first place winner will receive a $5,000 scholarship to the New York Film Academy.
