CFA Institute 11 September Memorial Scholarship Program

This scholarship is for victims who were permanently disabled as a direct result of the September 11th attacks, and dependent children, spouses, and domestic partners of those who died or were permanently disabled as a direct result of the September 11th attacks. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be planning to enroll or already enrolled in part- or full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school in the upcoming academic year. Applicants must be planning to pursue a degree in finance, economics, accounting, or business ethics. Berrien Fragos Thorn Arts Scholarships for Migrant Farmworkers

These scholarships are for individuals with a history of migration to obtain work in agriculture. To qualify for these scholarships, applicants must be at least 16 years of age and demonstrate an interest in pursuing further development of their talents in one of the following disciplines: visual arts, performing arts, media (film, video, animation, computer graphics, etc.), and crafts (traditional folk arts, furniture weaving, pottery, etc.). Professional Beauty Association (PBA)/National Cosmetology Association (NCA)

This scholarship is for students who are currently enrolled in an accredited cosmetology program. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have completed at least one semester, or one graded cycle, with an accredited school and apply any scholarship winnings towards classes with an accredited school; and have a minimum 3.0 GPA or percentage grade of 80 percent.

Fraser Institute Essay Contest

This contest is for both Canadian and international students; applicants do not have to live in Canada. To qualify, applicants must be attending school for the 2013-2014 academic year. To apply, applicants must submit an essay on the topic, "The rise of crony capitalism: how government and business gain the taxpayers' expense." Submissions will be considered from high school, undergraduate, and graduate students in all disciplines.

Award: $500-$1500

Abercrombie & Fitch Future Leaders Scholarship

Adelante! U.S. Education Leadership Fund

This scholarship is for incoming college sophomores, juniors, and seniors who are pursuing a degree in business. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have and maintain a 3.0 GPA, have community service experience, maintain full-time enrollment, and be US citizens or legal permanent residents. Recipients must attend Adelante's Annual Leadership Institute in San Antonio, Texas, in the fall of 2014.
