Ritchie-Jennings Memorial Scholarship Program

This scholarship is for college undergraduate and graduate students who are enrolled full-time at an accredited four-year college or university (nine semester hours as an undergraduate or six semester hours as a post-graduate). To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be majoring in accounting, business administration, finance, or criminal justice. This scholarship is open to students worldwide. These scholarships are for members of the Association of Government Accountants. To qualify for these scholarships, applicants must be pursuing full- or part-time study in accounting, auditing, budgeting, economics, finance, information technology, public administration, or a related field. Scholarships are available for rising college freshmen, current undergraduates, and graduate students. All applicants must have a 3.0 GPA.

Tribal Business Management Scholarship

Catching the Dream

This scholarship is for students majoring in business, finance, management, economics, banking, hotel management, and related fields who plan to work in economic development for tribes. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be at least one-quarter American Indian and be enrolled members of a US tribe that is federally recognized, state-recognized, or terminated. Applicants must have high GPA and test scores and be enrolled in an accredited US college/university on a full-time basis.

Award: $500-$5000

CFA Institute 11 September Memorial Scholarship Program

This scholarship is for victims who were permanently disabled as a direct result of the September 11th attacks, and dependent children, spouses, and domestic partners of those who died or were permanently disabled as a direct result of the September 11th attacks. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be planning to enroll or already enrolled in part- or full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school in the upcoming academic year. Applicants must be planning to pursue a degree in finance, economics, accounting, or business ethics. Scholarships are awarded based on academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, statement of goals and aspirations, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an outside appraisal. Financial need must be demonstrated for the student to receive an award.

Award: $25,000

United Negro College Fund (UNCF)

This scholarship is for high school seniors who plan to be enrolled at a Historically Black College or University in the fall of 2014. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants have a minimum high school GPA of 3.0 or higher and plan to pursue a degree in engineering, business, marketing, information technology, and/or finance.
