Persian Scholarship Foundation Scholarship

This scholarship is for students who are currently enrolled in a high school, college, or university in the United States. Applicants must have published an essay, article within their school's newspaper, or local/national newspaper that discusses themes relating to the history, culture, literature, or heritage of the Iranian people or the achievements of scholars, scientists, and leaders of Iranian descent. Goodwin & Scieszka Innovation Scholarship

Law Offices of Goodwin & Scieszka 

This scholarship is open to current law students and undergraduate students planning to attend an accredited law school in the United States. To apply, applicants must submit an essay between 1,000 and 3,000 words that responds to one of three given law-related prompts. Applicants must also have a minimum 2.8 GPA and submit an official copy of their transcript.

American Atheists Scholarships

This scholarship is for atheists who are current college students or high school students entering college in the upcoming year. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have a cumulative 2.5 GPA or better. Applicants are judged based on their actions as atheists. While all activism is important and considered, special attention is given to those students who show activism specifically in their schools, such as starting an atheist group or fighting against violations of the separation of church and state within their school.

Award: $500-$1000

This scholarship is for individuals who identify as gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, transgender, or a straight ally. To qualify, applicants must be pursuing a career in law enforcement; be "out" to family, friends, and peers at the academy or law enforcement agency; be recognized as a role model by their peers and supervisors; demonstrate use of the Law Enforcement Code of Ethics as a guide for decision-making; and demonstrate the ability to graduate from a law enforcement training program.

Arizona Nurses Foundation Scholarship

The Arizona Nurses Foundation (AzNF) assists Arizona nurses with their scientific and academic endeavors. The purpose of the foundation is to enhance the development of Arizona nurses by awarding college scholarships to undergraduate and graduate school nursing students.

Four $500 scholarships will be granted to associate degree students, four $1,000 scholarships to RN-BSN students, four $1,000 scholarships to direct entry BSN students, four $1,000 to masters students and two $1,000 to doctoral students. Applicant may be enrolled part-time or full-time. Scholarship winners may submit an application for each semester of enrollment.

On June 6, 2014 the world will celebrate the 70th Anniversary of D-Day, the Allied invasion to liberate Europe from Nazi rule. To commemorate the importance of this event, The National WWII Museum asks you to think about a time in your life where you have had to make important plans for success in spite of uncertainty.

IES Legacy Scholarships

This scholarship is for students whose parent, legal guardian, grandparent, or sibling attended a past IES (Institute of Education Sciences) study abroad program. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must attend an IES program, and be enrolled at a university that is a member or associate member of the IES Abroad Consortium and transfers at least 75% of homeschool aid to IES. This scholarship is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, so applicants are urged to submit their materials as early as possible.

Award: $500 - $1,000
