To qualify, applicants must be either in their final year of high school or enrolled at the undergraduate level in "good standing." Applicants must also maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. This scholarship is for college-bound high school juniors who are currently attending a high school in the United States. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have a strong record of community service, show a strong commitment to their academic studies, and demonstrate financial and/or personal need. Applicants must be self-starters, and have proven this through activities such as organizing a fundraiser, starting a business, creating a club or organization, or working to help support their family. Applicants must also show passion and commitment to their interests; this is often manifested in athletic, artistic, or academic achievements. Recipients of this scholarship are automatically enrolled in the Hamilton Leaders Academy (see website for details). US citizenship is not required; however, scholarship winners must be able to provide a US mailing address for award package delivery.

AFA Teens for Alzheimer's Awareness College Scholarship

This scholarship is for students who are currently enrolled in a public, independent, parochial, military, homeschool, or other high school in the United States (if not currently enrolled, please explain extenuating circumstances). To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must plan to enter an accredited four-year college or university within 12 months of the scholarship deadline. Create-A-Greeting-Card Scholarship Contest

The Gallery Collection

To apply for this scholarship, applicants must create and submit a photo, artwork, or computer graphic for the front of a greeting card. Designs should be appropriate for business and consumer use. This scholarship is open to all high school, college, and university students enrolled in any diploma- or degree-awarding program. To qualify, applicants must be legal residents of the fifty United States, the District of Columbia, American Samoa, Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, the US Virgin Islands, or Puerto Rico. International students who have a student visa to attend school in the United States are considered legal residents and are also eligible, as are members of the US armed forces. Applicants must be 14 years of age or older at the time of entry and be younger than 35 years of age.

APS Hopi Scholars Program

This scholarship is for American Indians who are enrolled members of the Hopi Tribe. To qualify, applicants must be high school graduates/GED recipients and be full-time sophomores, juniors, or seniors admitted to a regionally accredited college or university. Applicants must be pursuing an AAS, AS, BA, or BS in a STEM field (science, technology, engineering, or math), nursing, or education, and have a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA.

Jane Austen Society of North America Essay Contest

Jane Austen Society of North America (JASNA)

This essay contest is for students at the high school, college, and post-graduate levels. To enter this contest, applicants must submit a short essay that addresses, "What do we learn from the silences of Mansfield Park?" Essays must be six to eight pages in length, double-spaced, and in 12-point type. Please read the contest rules for full essay submission guidelines. Winners will receive a scholarship ranging from $250 to $1000; complimentary registration and two-nights' lodging for the JASNA's Annual General Meeting in Montreal, Canada; one-year free membership in JASNA for winner and mentor; and publication of the winning essay on the JASNA website.
