The Summer Challenge Scholarship

Scholarship is open to students who embody College Greenlight’s mission in one or more of the following ways: demonstrated financial need, underrepresented minority status, or by being the first in their family to attend college. Applicant must create a College Greenlight profile.

Award: $500

Gates Millennium Scholarship REMINDER POST: ONLY 9 DAYS LEFT!!!

The deadline is January 13th, 2016 at 9:59 pm AZ Time. Minority seniors with at least a 3.3 GPA and demonstrable resume of leadership and community service experiences--You are eligible for the Gates Millennium Scholar's Program. Average award is $12,492.

Minority Scholarship Award for Incoming College Freshmen

American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) 

This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors who are entering college in the fall. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be members of a minority group that is underrepresented in chemical engineering, such as African American, Hispanic, Native American, or Alaskan Native. Applicants must plan to enroll in a four-year college or university offering a science/engineering degree. Applicants are encouraged to choose classes leading to a degree in chemical engineering. Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA.

Award: $1000

Two New College Greenlight Scholarships

The Greenlight to College Scholarship

Applicants must be in the class of 2015 or 2016. Applications will be evaluated based on academic merit, leadership history, and extracurricular activity. Furthermore, applicants should embody College Greenlight’s mission in one or more of the following ways: demonstrated financial need, underrepresented minority status, or by being the first in their family to attend college. Membership in a college preparatory program is a plus.

Award: $1000

The College Greenlight #1 Fan Scholarship


The scholarship will go to the most well-rounded College Greenlight fan as defined by extracurricular, leadership and volunteer activities listed in their College Greenlight profile. Step 1: Become a fan of College Greenlight on Facebook. Step 2: Post a status update on how College Greenlight is helping you with your college search. Be sure to mention College Greenlight in your post.

Award: $1000

Go Red Multicultural Scholarship Fund

This scholarship is for women from culturally diverse racial or ethnic backgrounds who are pursuing a career in healthcare. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be of Hispanic, African-American, or other minority origin; be US citizens/permament residents; be currently enrolled at an accredited college, university, or allied health institution in the US; and have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.

Deadline: Nov. 30, 2013

Award:  $2,500

Robert B. Bailey Scholarship

This scholarship is for minority college students who plan to study abroad through a CIEE (Council on International Educational Exchange)  Study Center program. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be members of a group that has traditionally been underrepresented in study abroad, especially ethnic minority students. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must write an essay explaining how their membership in an underrepresented group has affected their choice of program/destination and how they plan to integrate their study abroad experience into their future endeavors.

Deadline: November 1, 2013 

Award: $1,000 - $1,500
