PBA/NCA Minerva Beauty Scholarship

Professional Beauty Association (PBA)/National Cosmetology Association (NCA)

This scholarship is for students who are currently enrolled in an accredited cosmetology program. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have completed at least one semester, or one graded cycle, with an accredited school and apply any scholarship winnings towards classes with an accredited school; and have a minimum 3.0 GPA or percentage grade of 80 percent.

Award: $1000

AFA Teens for Alzheimer's Awareness College Scholarship

This scholarship is for students who are currently enrolled in a public, independent, parochial, military, home-school, or other high school in the United States (if not currently enrolled, please explain extenuating circumstances). To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must plan to enter an accredited four-year college or university within 12 months of the scholarship deadline. Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must write an autobiographical essay related to Alzheimer's disease.

Award: $250-$5000
