This contest is for high school or homeschool students worldwide who have actively participated in projects that promote the humane treatment of animals. Applicants must be younger than 19. To qualify, applicants must either establish a new project or become involved in an existing project that addresses either the mistreatment of one animal species or one cause of animal suffering, or the preservation of one species threatened with extinction, occurring anywhere in the world, and then work on that project for at least three months. Applicants can demonstrate their accomplishments by writing an essay accompanied by photos, creating a digital photo journal/album, or creating an original video. The contest is open to all otherwise eligible students worldwide regardless of nationality, citizenship, or country of residence.
Award: $150-$750
