Letters About Literature Competition

Competition is open to students in grades four through 12. Applicant must select a fiction or nonfiction book, poem or play and write a personal letter to the author on how the author’s work changed the applicant or their view of the world. Unfortunately, some state deadlines have already passed – see website for details.

Award: Up to $1,000
