Fall Fly-in Program at Carleton College

Every fall, Carleton College sponsors a fall fly-in program for underrepresented senior students called Taste of Carleton (TOC). Students who are accepted will be able to visit their campus, with most expenses paid, in the month of October. You may be familiar with this program and may have even nominated a student in the past.

TOC is open to all prospective high school seniors, but the selection committee will prioritize students from traditionally under-represented backgrounds. Students of color, first-generation college students, and low-income students are particularly encouraged to apply.

If you know a student who may be interested in this opportunity, or would like to learn more about the TOC program yourself, please take a few minutes to check out the TOC website:

Apply for a Fly In Program while you still can!

Visiting campus is one of the most important steps in deciding if a particular college is right for you. Because of this, most colleges offer weekend programs where students can spend a couple nights on campus, and get to know the students and faculty who bring the college to life. However, travelling to these campuses can be extremely expensive. Here is a list of colleges that offer travel assistance for students who demonstrate financial need. Many of these applications are due soon, so apply while you still can!
