This scholarship is for Cuban-American students who were born in Cuba or are direct Cuban descendants. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be financially needy and have a minimum 3.5 GPA. Scholarships are awarded based on academic performance, leadership qualities, potential to contribute to the advancement of a free society, and likelihood of succeeding in the chosen career.
