Friends of Scott Foundation Scott Delgadillo College Scholarship

This scholarship is for students who are cancer survivors or current cancer patients. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be enrolled in or accepted for enrollment in an accredited undergraduate or graduate school. They must also submit a statement from a physician verifying their medical history. Scholarships will be awarded based on financial need and personal hardship.

National Collegiate Cancer Foundation (NCCF) Scholarship - $1000

This scholarship is for cancer survivors or current cancer patients who are between the ages of 18 and 35. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be attending or planning to attend an accredited college, university, or vocational institution in pursuit of an associate's, bachelor's, master's, doctorate, or certificate as of the fall semester following application. Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents. Scholarships are awarded based on displaying a "win-win" attitude with respect to their cancer experience, quality of essays, financial need, overall story of cancer survivorship, commitment to education, and quality of recommendations. Deadline: May 15, 2013. Award: $1000
