Women in Defense HORIZONS Scholarship

Scholarship is open to current undergraduate (at least junior level status) and graduate students who demonstrate an interest in pursuing a career related to national security or defense. Preferred fields of study for the scholarship are security studies, military history, government relations, engineering, computer science, cyber security, physics, mathematics, business, law, international relations, political science, and economics.

Women In Defense (WID)

This scholarship is for women who are currently enrolled at an accredited college/university, full- or part-time. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must demonstrate interest in pursuing a career related to national security or defense. Applicants must have attained at least junior level status (60 credits), demonstrate financial need, have a minimum 3.25 GPA, and be US citizens. Undergraduate and graduate students are eligible. Scholarships will be awarded based on academic achievement, participation in defense and national security activities, field of study, work experience, statements of objectives, recommendations, and financial need.

Award: $500-$12000
