Community Foundation of Southern AZ Scholarships

Graduating seniors with a 2.5 or better GPA intending on attending full time (12 credits or more) a 2 or 4 year college or university. No citizenship requirement . These scholarships target students who may not be in the top 10% of their class but who show potential for academic success and have need for financial help to attend college. This is a need - based scholarship. The primary criteria for award selection are financial need, potential for academic success, and motivation. Potential for academic success and motivation a reevaluated by the transcript, letter of recommendation (new applicant), personal essay, and a resume of employment, volunteer service, or extracurricular activities

Award: $3,000 4 year college, $1,000 2 year college

Deadline: April 1, 2014
