Cleft Palate Foundation
This scholarship is for students with craniofacial anomalies, such as cleft palate and cleft lip. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be attending an accredited US institution. Scholarships are awarded for undergraduate and/or graduate study and are awarded based on past academic performance, evidence of leadership skills and/or community and school involvement, and strong indications of future academic success. One scholarship is designated for a student enrolled in or planning to enroll in a community, vocational, or technical school. For the remaining scholarships, preference is given to rising first-year students in any field and currently enrolled students in a field of study related to the management of craniofacial anomalies (e.g., genetic counseling, speech-language pathology). There are two separate applications: one for rising first-year students and a second for continuing college students; see website for more details.
Award: $500
