Burlington North Santa Fe (BNSF) Foundation Scholarship
Scholarship is open to Native American, Alaska Natives, and Native Hawaiians who are graduating high school seniors and live in a state serviced by BNSF (Arizona, California, Colorado, Kansas, Minnesota, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, and Washington). Applicant must be planning to study Business, Mathematics, Natural/Physical Sciences, Technology, Engineering, Education, Medicine, or Health Administration.

A.T Anderson Memorial Scholarship - $1000-$2000
The A.T. Anderson Memorial Scholarship Program is funded through a variety of sources, including memorials, private donations, American Indian Science and Engineering Society fundraisers, corporations and government entities. These scholarships are awarded to American Indian/Alaska Native/Native Hawaiian AISES members pursuing degrees in the sciences, engineering, medicine, natural resources, math and technology. Scholarship is non-renewable
The applicant must provide a personal essay with no more than 1000 words. This essay is evaluated by stating educational and/or career goals, stating interest in and motivation to continue higher education, understanding the importance of college and a commitment to completion, expressing commitment to learning, and giving back to the community.
Deadline: June 14, 2013. Award: $1,000 for undergraduates; $2,000 for graduates
