Desk and Derrick Educational Trust Scholarship

This scholarship is for students who are pursuing a career in petroleum, energy, an allied industry, or research and development of alternative fuels such as coal, electric, solar, wind hydroelectric, nuclear, and ethanol. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies with a 3.2 overall GPA (80% or above in Canada) and be enrolled full-time. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and be US or Canadian citizens.

NNOGC Four -Year Petroleum Industry Scholarship

Current Semester Scholarship Offered: Starting Fall Semester 2013

Navajo Nation Oil and Gas Company (NNOGC) will provide up to two, four-year scholarships for Navajo undergraduates pursuing a bachelor’s degree in geology or petroleum, mechanical, or chemical engineering. The four-year scholarship will cover the student’s tuition, books and campus living expenses during their pursuit of a qualified degree.

The scholarship award will begin with the fall 2013 semester and we are now accepting applications from students who desire a career in the oil and gas industry. The scholarship opportunity is open to students entering college in fall 2013 or who are continuing college in 2013.
