Foundation for Global Scholars Scholarships

These scholarships are for students who are studying abroad for a minimum of four weeks. To qualify for these scholarships, applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or professional degree program at a US college or university where transfer credit from an academic program abroad will be applied to your US degree being earned. Applicants also must have a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA. Multiple types of scholarships are available.

Award: $1000-$2500

Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship

This scholarship is for students who will be studying abroad. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be receiving a Federal Pell Grant or provide proof that they will be receiving one. Applicants must be applying to or have been accepted to a study abroad program that's eligible for credit. Applicants must be studying abroad for at least four weeks in one country except Cuba or any country on the US Department of State's current travel warning list. Programs going to more than one country are eligible if the students will be studying in one country for at least four consecutive weeks.

Deadline: Oct. 1

Award: $3000-$8000
