Student Expedition Program. What is STEP? Simply put, STEP is an unprecedented opportunity for talented high-school students
with limited financial resources to discover the extent of their own abilities. In confronting and
overcoming the challenges faced during an extended 3-week wilderness leadership expedition,
students gain self-confidence, self-esteem, a sense of purpose, and an understanding that
they have what it takes to succeed.
