Jain Foundation Merit-Based Scholarship

This scholarship is for current and former high school and college students between the ages of 17 and 30 who are or will be enrolled in some form of higher education (including two- and four-year colleges, universities, and vocational schools) in the United States in 2015. To apply, applicants must teach at least ten people about LGMD2B/Miyoshi myopathy (a type of muscular dystrophy) using given learning materials, then complete an application that includes two short essay questions about their teaching experience.

Award: $1000
