Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards
Hispanic Heritage Foundation
This scholarship is for current high school juniors (rising seniors) who are of Hispanic/Latino descent (at least one parent). To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be graduating in the spring of 2014 and be planning to enroll in college in 2015-2016. Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale or 7.5 GPA on a 10.0 scale and be US citizens or permanent residents. Applicants must be willing to travel at their own expense to the awards ceremony in their selected region (regions include Los Angeles, Houston, New York, Chicago, Washington DC, Dallas, Miami, Northern California, Denver, and Phoenix); ceremony attendance is absolutely mandatory for scholarship recipients.
