Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors (2017) of Hispanic/Latino descent who have demonstrated leadership in the classroom and community and for their focus in various categories including: Business & Entrepreneurship, Community Service, Education, Engineering, Healthcare & Science, and Mathematical Science.

Award: Up to $3,000

American Chemical Society (ACS)

Scholarship is open to African American, Hispanic/Latino, and American Indian students who are graduating high school seniors or college freshmen, sophomores or juniors intending to or already majoring in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering or a chemically related science.

Award: Up to $5,000

Eligibility: Current Seniors with at least a 3.0 GPA who are of Latino/Hispanic descent. Requirements: Students must apply online and submit one letter of recommendation and a grade verification form which can be downloaded from the website.

Award: $1000 each state has a winner!

AICPA Scholarship for Minority Accounting Students

This scholarship is for underrepresented minorities in the accounting profession (African American, Hispanic/Latino, Native American, or Asian American). To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be undergraduate or graduate students enrolled full-time, and pursuing a degree in an accounting-related major. Applicants must have maintained an overall and major GPA of at least 3.3 and have completed at least 30 semester hours of college course work. Applicants must also be AICPA student affiliate members; students can join AICPA online at no cost. Applicants must also be US citizens or permanent residents and have some financial need. AICPA staff and their family members are not eligible for this scholarship.
