HSF General College Scholarships for High School Students

Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF)

This scholarship is for Hispanic graduating high school students, community college students, transfer students, college students, and graduate students. To qualify, high school students must have a 3.0 GPA and college and graduate students must have a 2.5 GPA. Applicants must plan to enroll full-time at an accredited non-profit, four-year university or graduate school in the fall. Applicants also must be US citizens, permanent legal residents, DACA (deferred action for childhood arrivals), or eligible non-citizens as defined by the FAFSA.

Award: $500-$5000

Ronald McDonald House Charities/HACER Scholarships

These scholarships are for graduating high school seniors who have at least one parent of Hispanic heritage. To qualify for these scholarships, applicants must carry a minimum 2.7 GPA, be eligible to attend a two- or four-year college or university with a full course of study, plan to enroll at an accredited post-secondary education institution during the academic year following their graduation, be younger than 21 years old, and be legal US residents. Students are selected based on their academic achievement, financial need, and community involvement. Both local and national scholarships are available.

Deadline: December 20, 2013

Award Average: $25,000
