To give students a chance to apply for as much free money for college as possible!
The Scholarship Marathon is a day-long virtual event where your students are encouraged to apply for as many scholarships as possible in an exciting, communal environment. We all know how important it is for students to apply for scholarships, but unfortunately many do not take the time to do so. The Scholarship Marathon is an opportunity for these students to commit to a day of taking charge of their scholarship applications alongside the College Greenlight community. By participating in the Scholarship Marathon, students will enjoy the encouragement of their counselors and friends as they find free money for college.
Because the Scholarship Marathon is a virtual event, our CBO partners have the option to either host their students for the event, or to encourage their students to participate from home. Furthermore, it allows you and your students to participate for as long or as little time as you'd like. However, keep in mind that everyone who participates must have computer and internet access.
