| Yesterday, 3/7/2018, students from 10 Tucson area high schools, through the Metropolitan Education Commission and being part of the Youth Advisory Council/Tucson Teen Congress, participated in a Civic Engagement Day in Phoenix, speaking to lawmakers in the House and Senate regarding their concerns on multiple topics including school safety, prison education funding, certified teacher retention, school counselor recruitment, and college readiness. The Metropolitan Education Commission's (MEC) Teen Town Hall, October 20th!!!
High school students! We need to hear from you! The Metropolitan Education Commission's (MEC) Teen Town Hall is Friday, October 20, 2017. 9am-11am. Catalina High School Auditorium. 3645 E.
