Davidson Fellows Scholarship

Mutual of Omaha Actuarial Scholarship for Minority Students

This scholarship is for minorities who are enrolled as full-time college undergraduate students. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be majoring in actuarial science or mathematics with the goal of pursuing an actuarial career. Applicants must have passed at least one actuarial exam and completed at least 24 semester hours. Math-O-Vision Contest

The Neukom Institute for Computational Science, at Dartmouth College, is offering prizes for high school students who create 4-minute movies that show the world of equations we live in. In 240 seconds, using animation, story-telling, humor, or anything you can think of, show us what you see: the patterns, the abstractions, the patterns within the abstractions.

Davidson Fellows Scholarship

This scholarship is for high school students who have completed a significant piece of work that falls into one of the following categories: science, technology, engineering, mathematics, literature, music, philosophy, or outside the box. Each submission must be an original piece of work recognized by experts in the field as "significant" and it must have the potential to make a positive contribution to society. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be 18 years of age or younger as of October 1, 2014; there is no minimum age to apply. Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents residing in the United States or stationed overseas due to active US military duty. The Davidson Institute is looking for students whose projects are at, or close to, the college graduate level with a depth of knowledge in their particular area of study. Delphix Technology Scholarship for Women

This scholarship is for women who are full-time college students pursuing technical degrees like computer science, mathematics, information technology, etc. Applicants must be full-time students when applying for the competition in 2013 and during the beginning of the 2014 calender year. Alice T. Shafer Prize Association for Women in Mathematics

The Executive Committee of the Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM) calls for nominations for the Alice T. Schafer Mathematics Prize to be awarded to an undergraduate woman for excellence in mathematics. All members of the mathematical community are invited to submit nominations for the Prize. The nominee may be at any level in her undergraduate career but must be an undergraduate as of September 1, 2013. She must either be a U.S. citizen or have a school address in the United States. • demonstration of real interest in mathematics
