This scholarship is for individuals who have been diagnosed with hemophilia A or hemophilia B. This scholarship is for students who are homeless or who have been homeless during their K-12 school attendance, and who have demonstrated average or higher than average achievement. CFA Institute 11 September Memorial Scholarship Program

This scholarship is for victims who were permanently disabled as a direct result of the September 11th attacks, and dependent children, spouses, and domestic partners of those who died or were permanently disabled as a direct result of the September 11th attacks. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be planning to enroll or already enrolled in part- or full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school in the upcoming academic year. Applicants must be planning to pursue a degree in finance, economics, accounting, or business ethics. Scholarships are awarded based on academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, statement of goals and aspirations, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an outside appraisal. Financial need must be demonstrated for the student to receive an award.

This scholarship is for current employees, past employees, or legal dependents of current or past employees of Synnex Corporation or its subsidiaries who left the company in good standing and had worked for a minimum of three years at the time of award. Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

This program is for students between the ages of 6 and 21 who are have moderate to profound hearing loss. Spoken communication must be the student's primary mode of communication and applicants' bilateral hearing loss or auditory neuropathy must have been diagnosed before the child's fourth birthday. Students with unilateral (one-sided) hearing loss do not qualify. Applicants must be enrolled full-time in a parochial, independent, or private school in which they participate in a mainstream educational program; students at public or homeschool programs do not qualify. Applicants must live in the United States or Canada. Preference may be given to members of AG Bell, although this is not a requirement.

Berrien Fragos Thorn Arts Scholarships for Migrant Farmworkers

These scholarships are for individuals with a history of migration to obtain work in agriculture. To qualify for these scholarships, applicants must be at least 16 years of age and demonstrate an interest in pursuing further development of their talents in one of the following disciplines: visual arts, performing arts, media (film, video, animation, computer graphics, etc.), and crafts (traditional folk arts, furniture weaving, pottery, etc.). There are two options in applying for funding: option one (grants under $500) has no deadline for applicants and requests are reviewed case-by-case; option two (grants up to $2500) has application deadlines of June 1 and November 1 and requires that a portfolio or samples of work and a budget or documentation of expenses be submitted with the application. Because no essay is required, the letter of recommendation is very important and should address the qualify of both the applicant and intended project. Applicants do not need to be enrolled in school.
